Return Policy

At Universal Gold, we know that buying gold bullion represents a large outlay of funds. We provide a transparent and easy return policy since we want you to be confident and safe with your purchase. Please carefully review our return policy to grasp your rights and obligations before you start buying from Universal Gold.

Policy for Return Shipping

We only accept the return of Gold Bullion items within a designated period from the delivery date. The order must be in its original, unspoiled, sealed state if you qualify for a return. Similarly, the packing should not be opened, damaged, or altered in any state. The return request should be within 14 days after your order. Requests for returns received beyond this time will not be entertained. Please see the Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds section under Purchase Terms for further details. 

Terms and Conditions for Return Policy Acceptance

You must contact our customer service staff to start a return, available from Monday to Friday 10 AM to 5 PM EST. Let us know your order number, why you are returning it, and any pertinent information about the state of the product. Our customer support staff will walk you through the return process, including assigning you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Effective tracking and processing of your return depend on this number.

After receiving the RMA number, you have to package the gold bullion products for return tightly. We advise choosing a trackable and insured shipping company to guarantee the safe return of the goods. Damage or missing return shipments are not under Universal Gold’s purview. Until the return has been handled, we advise maintaining the shipment documentation. Unless the return results from an error on our end—a wrong item shipped—the client bears the shipping expense for the return.

Inspection and Making the Refunds

Our staff will check the returned gold bullion to be sure it is in its original, unspoiled state. Your original payment method will be refunded within five to ten business days if the product satisfies all qualifying criteria. The original non-refundable shipping charges and processing fees will be excluded from the refund value. For security reasons, we cannot refund the return shipping cost.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you find a damaged or defective gold bullion product, let us know immediately. This can be an unlikely situation for any customers. Within 24 hours of delivery, contact our customer care staff to report the problem and offer pictures proof. We will arrange for a replacement at no additional cost to you or a full refund if a suitable replacement cannot be provided.
